Can I pre-order a meal for my SJ journey?
Yes, it is possible to pre-order food when travelling on SJ high-speed trains.
You pre-order food when you buy your ticket. Food can be added if you buy your ticket no later than 10:00 a.m. the day before your trip.
If you purchased your ticket through any of SJ’s channels (sj.se, the SJ app, or SJ Customer Service), you can easily add food and drinks to your existing booking on sj.se or in the app. This can be done up until 10:00 a.m. the day before departure.
We also have a vegan, gluten and lactose free meal.
Add food when booking
You make the option after you have selected departure and flexibility on the ticket. Click Add and Save when you have made your selection.
Add food to an existing booking
- Go to your booking.
- Click Food - Add, choose your meal, and press Save.
- Choose a payment method and complete your purchase.
