When does SJ release their tickets?

Today you can book tickets until December 13, 2025* with SJ Day trains and SJ EuroNight and until Mars 8, 2026* with SJ Night trains. 

Upcoming ticket releases:

At the beginning of October, we will release tickets for the period December 14 – January 11, 2026*.

At the end of October, we will release tickets for the period January 12 – April 12, 2026*.

*The date for the period refers to the train's departure station and means that SJ Night trains and SJ EuroNight can be booked with one day shorter in each period.

Why is SJ releasing the night trains earlier than the day trains this year?
We know that the demand for booking winter journeys with SJ Night Train early is especially high, and that this has long been both a request and a general expectation from our customers and the public.
That’s why we are extending the booking period for SJ Night Train.

We will update here as soon as we have more information about upcoming ticket releases.

Some departures are blocked due to track work planning
The departures will be released for booking as soon as the planning is complete. The tickets will be released continuously every day. SJ Customer Service cannot give any information in advance about when a specific departure can be booked.
