How can I get a receipt?

When you buy a trip through one of SJ’s sales channels, i.e. sj.se, the SJ app or SJ Customer Service, you can find your receipt as follows:

  • My Page – Purchase history and receipts (Note! We can only show your purchase history and receipts here if you made your purchase as an identified user)
  • My page - Purchase history and receipts in SJ App (Note! We can only show your purchase history and receipts here if you made your purchase as an identified user)
  • Via the link in your confirmation email
  • Journeys, where you enter the booking number and the email address or mobile phone number you provided when making the purchase. Then click on Show journey and select Receipt.

Can I register my journey afterwards and then also find my receipt in My Page’s “Purchase history and receipts”?
No. You must be identified at the time of purchase for us to be able to show the receipt from the purchase.

How long do you keep receipts from my purchase?
For 18 months.

If I was not logged in or identified via my SJ Prio membership when I bought my trip, how can I find the receipt?
Via your confirmation email or via Journeys. To find the receipt in Journeys you need to enter the booking number and the email address or mobile phone number you used when making the purchase.

You say that only purchases made by identified users can be seen under My Page’s Purchase history and receipts. What is an identified user?
By “identified user” we mean that you bought your journey while logged in on sj.se or in the SJ app, or that you identified yourself via your SJ Prio membership at the first step under the heading Traveller.
