Does SJ have student and youth discount?

As a student or youth traveller you always get 15% discount on SJ trains. You are considered as a youth until 25 years of age. 

You can also buy Last minute ticket (Sista minuten) that are released 24 hours before the departure, if there are plenty of seats left on the train.

These student cards are valid:

• Mecenat card (or SMS verification). The text Verified by Mecenat must be found on the card, and the the orange circles must pulsate in the app.
• The STUK card with SJ logo.
• The ISIC card.
