What applies when traveling with different companies?

If you have booked a connected journey that includes a change to another train company, it is called Resplus.

In a Resplus trip, different conditions may apply to the different train companies. Local traffic tickets for example, SL, Västtrafik and Skånetrafiken are never rebookable or refundable when purchased through SJ. When you buy your trip, you need to pay attention to which companies are included in the trip.

In the timetable on sj.se, you can see if you are traveling with us all the way or if another company is included in the trip. To find out each company's terms and conditions, we refer you to contact the respective company.

In the event of a delay, application for compensation or other question relating to your trip, contact the company you are traveling with.

What rights do I have in the event of a delay?
In the event of a traffic disruption, you will get help to get all the way to your final station. This also applies if you have a Resplus ticket, where you travel with different companies during the trip.

We will help you if you are delayed with an SJ train. If you travel with another company, e.g. Mälartåg, Öresundståg or similar, you need to contact them to get help in the event of a delay.
