What is the difference between first class and second class?

We have business class on most of our trains. The difference between 1 class and 2 class differs depending on what type of train you are travelling with. 

For instance 1 class on our high speed trains includes:

• Breakfast if your departure is before 09:00 am
• Wider seats and more legroom
• Coffe, tea, water and fruit
• Access to our lounges

When travelling with Intercity or Regional trains you can see what is included in the different classes in the timetable when making your booking.
