Can I travel with pets?

Yes, of course you can travel with your animal on our trains.

Pets are allowed in 2nd class and you need to reserve a seat in the area where pets are allowed. You do that when making your booking. 

Enter the number of travellers and click on each Traveller  and select travels with Pet. Then all departures that have seats left in the section for pets allowed are displayed.

Each passenger can bring a maximum of two pets
You can take two pets with you as long as they both fit on the floor next to your seat. If they take up more space, you must book an extra seat by adding a youth ticket (16-25 years) to your booking. Pets must be placed on the floor and may not be on the seat or in the traveler's lap.  If you are traveling with animals in cages (for example, birds, rabbits or guinea pigs), each cage counts as one pet.

Can I travel with animals on a replacement bus?
We will of course help you and your pet to get to your final destination. Some replacement services may have special rules regarding this.
